The event details include a torch relay around the Cassie Campbell Community, where all 400 students will have an opportunity to carry the torch before passing it on to the next student.  The students will then transition into Cassie Campbell Community Centre for the “Opening Ceremonies”  from 10:00AM to 10:45AM. Some highlights include: Students singing the National Anthem in both French and English, Two Canadian Female Hockey Olympic Athletes, presentation from Skate Canada, and a drum line from one our local schools.

This event promises to be a wonderful opportunity for the students in this community to celebrate together!

Come out and cheer on the torchbearers! Click here for a map  of where they will be relaying the torch starting at 9:00AM from Cassie Cambell Community Centre and proceeding west on Sandalwood, then north on Brisdale, east on Sugarhill, south on Chinguacousy and back to Cassie Campbell!
