Friday, November 16, 2012 at Cassie Campbell Community Centre – Register now!

Power of Me is our initiative to develop positive self-esteem
among young girls ages 12-14. Over 40% of teenage girls
expressed that they did not like the way they looked and onethird
of all girls have a distorted idea about their weight
(According to the Girl Scout Research Institute). We
understand the transition from elementary/middle school into
high school is often very challenging. By attending this workshop,
girls will learn how society creates “ideal” images of beauty and
how to engage in a healthy dialogue about self-esteem. This full
day workshop consists of guest speakers, interactive games,
teambuilding, activities, goodies and loads more!

You will need to register for this workshop by November 7 through Brampton Parks and Rec online or in-person at Cassie Campbell Community Centre — The course code is:  543200
